Store Policies
Please call us at the store if you have any questions concerning how items fit or how to match them up. We would be delighted to help you.
An automatic email confirmation is sent out once you place your order.
Back Orders and Sold Out Items
If you are unable to find the style or size you like online, please call us toll free at (866)OBX-PINK, or send us an email at fun@shoplifesabeach.com and we can order it for you.
To guarantee that we have the item in stock, it is always best to call the store and place an order. Call us toll free at (866)OBX-PINK.
If you have ordered an item online and it is not actually stock, you will be contacted by a Life's A Beach representative via telephone and email. At that time you will be able to cancel the order. Once you have agreed back order the item, the order CANNOT be cancelled.
Tax Charges
There is a 7% combined North Carolina State and Dare County tax applied to all orders sent to North Carolina addresses. Any orders shipped to a billing address outside of North Carolina are tax free.

Returns and Exchanges
We will be happy to accept exchanges or returns for STORE CREDIT within 14 days of you receiving the merchandise. No returns are accepted after 14 days. You will not be credited for any shipping charges.
Winter Holiday Gift Giving Exception:
Full priced merchandise purchased after November 15th, may be returned until February 15th for an exchange or returned for STORE CREDIT.
If you would like to EXCHANGE and item, contact the store toll free (866)OBX-PINK so we can reserve the item for you. Exchanges can not occur online.
ALL SALE ITEMS ARE A FINAL SALE. They cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.
ALL BATHING SUITS ARE A FINAL SALE, it is a North Carolina State law.
You may return items to our store location, or send them back to us.
Please follow these instructions when sending merchandise you are returning:
1. All tags must be intact.
2. Merchandise must not have been worn.
3. Merchandise must be in saleable condition.
4. Include the receipt number of the original purchase.
5. Include your name, address, phone number and email
6. Include the ship to address for exchanges if it's different from your name, address and phone number.
7. List the items you are retuning and the reason.
8. List the item you are exchanging it for if applicable.
9. You must pay for shipping, we will not accept any packages not already paid for.

Shipping and Handling
Memorial Day through Labor Day Shipping Policy:
Orders received by 2pm EST Monday through Friday will be shipped out that same day. Any order received after 2pm EST Monday through Friday will be shipped out the following business day. Please be aware of national holidays. This will delay your shipment. A Life's A Beach representative will contact you if any item you have ordered is sold out or back ordered.
September through April/May Shipping Policy:
It is our goal to serve you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Over these months we will be open at least 5 days a week. Typically we may be closed on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Please call the store toll free at (866)OBX-PINK if your order is urgent and you would like to confirm the delivery time. Our telephone voice mail message will always have our current store hours posted and list any future dates when we may close the store for an extended period of time.
All orders will be sent via United Parcel Service (UPS) using their Ground service. Other UPS shipping options are available if you call us at the store at (866)OBX-PINK to place your order.
UPS will not deliver to a Post Office Box.

Special Delivery Requests:
We can use your personal UPS or Federal Express account number instead of charging a shipping fee. This must be done by phone, such a request cannot be fulfilled online.

Winter Holidays Shipping Deadlines:
For guaranteed delivery dates during this busy time, we suggest you use the following guideline:
UPS Ground - For orders placed 10 business days before December 24th.
UPS 2nd Day - For orders placed 5 business days before December 24th.
UPS Overnight - UNAVAILIBLE for Christmas.
We will not be able to offer this service to meet the December 24th deadline. We are typically closed the week before Christmas. Ideally, we will have an employee in the area during that time who will not be in the store on a regular schedule, but who will be diligently checking our internet orders and telephone calls to process orders placed. To see if it is possible for us to overnight a delivery for the Christmas deadline, please email us at fun@shoplifesabeach.com.
